None

Sadly, we have to report the death, on 20th September, of another long-serving and loyal member of the choir, JIM TATTERSALL who died following a freak accident whilst on holiday in Llandudno. Jim was aged 86 and was still an active member of the choir and had been a member for 43 years. CONCERT ON 21ST JULY 2018 AT CHRIST CHURCH

The concert, held at Christ Church Nelson, before a small but discerning audience certainly lived up to expectations. Guest artist BEN JARVIS  gave a brilliant display of cornet/trumpet playing. Ben is soon to continue his musical journey by starting his course at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in September and those who have heard him recently have no doubt that he is a star of the future. The choir also performed admirably in the choir-friendly acoustic of Christ Church and the concert as a whole proved to be an uplifting experience.
